->Licensed Child Care

Our California State-licensed “Kids Place” school-age child care programs operate on school campuses, offering a variety of age appropriate enrichment and recreational activities. We deliver stimulating learning experiences in a safe environment that aim to enhance your child’s social, intellectual, physical and emotional development. Daily homework assistance is also included. All staff meets or exceeds licensing regulations for background checks, education and experience.

->Way to Grow Preschool

For children 2.9 to 5 years old, Way to Grow Preschool is a state-licensed program designed to provide play-based, child-centered curriculum around developmentally appropriate experiences. Our goal is to provide your child with a safe, caring and cheerful environment in which he or she can make friends, learn new skills and continue to develop self-esteem.

->After-school Programs

The YMCA After-school Program offers children a balance of homework assistance, recreational, educational, and enrichment activities. It compliments a child’s school day in a manner that is fun and active for children.

After-school programs are offered by the El Camino YMCA at various locations in Mountain View and Los Altos:

->ChildWatch

While working out at the Y, parents can leave their child at our Child Watch or Youth Center where your child can play with other children and take part in activities under the supervision of YMCA staff. Child Watch is open to children from 7 weeks to 7 years.

->Youth Center

Our Youth Center is an onsite recreation room for children to learn independence and self sufficiency while interacting with other children and enjoying the equipment, games and special activities. Youth center is available for children 7 to 12 years old while parents are working out at the YMCA.
